Respite Home Release & Consent

This document serves as a formal understanding between Preston Ranch Ministries (“PRM”) and guests staying at 6461 Kinney Creek Road Evergreen, CO 80439. By signing below, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined herein.

I. Purpose and Scope

The purpose of the agreement is to outline the terms and conditions associated with participating in PRM-hosted events and any stays at PRM-affiliated properties.

Guests staying at PRM-affiliated properties acknowledge the adult-only nature of these stays. Children are not permitted on the premises, and pets are also strictly prohibited.

II. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that participation in PRM events and residing in PRM-affiliated properties carries inherent risks. You acknowledge that you are voluntarily staying at the property listed above and understand that while reasonable steps have been taken to ensure safety, staying in any private residence carries inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, weather-related hazards, or the use of kitchen appliances, stairs, decks, natural terrain, or nearby trails. You accept full responsibility for any injury or damage that may result from such risks.

PRM takes reasonable precautions to provide a controlled and safe environment, but absolute safety cannot be guaranteed. Risks related to property stays may include slips, trips, falls, weather-related hazards, accidents while using amenities, or interactions with natural terrain or nearby hiking trails. Guests are fully responsible for their actions and any injury or damage that may result from such risks.

III. Release of Liability

In consideration of the opportunity to participate in PRM events or stay in PRM-affiliated properties, you voluntarily release PRM and related entities, including the Homeowners of 6461 Kinney Creek Road Evergreen, CO 80439, from liability.

PRM, its officers, contractors, volunteers, and representatives are released from claims, liabilities, actions, or damages arising from their stay at the property. Guests waive and release PRM, its staff, volunteers, and property representatives from liability for loss, damage, injury, or property-related incidents during their stay, including any caused by negligence.

IV. Indemnification

Participants and guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless PRM, its officers, volunteers, contractors, and property representatives, including the Homeowners of 6461 Kinney Creek Road Evergreen, CO 80439, from loss, liability, or damage caused by the participant or guest, including harm caused by family or party members.

V. Emergency Medical Treatment

In the event of an emergency affecting you during a PRM event or property stay, you authorize PRM and its representatives to seek professional medical assistance on your behalf as deemed necessary. You agree to be financially responsible for such medical treatment, including transportation to medical facilities.

Guests staying at PRM properties agree to use amenities (e.g., kitchen appliances, grill, hiking trails) safely and responsibly. Any damages or malfunctions must be reported immediately. The following restrictions apply:

VII. Consent for Photographs and Media Use By signing this agreement, you consent to PRM photographing or recording your participation for non-commercial purposes. PRM agrees not to use such photographs or recordings publicly without prior written consent.

VIII. Acknowledgment of Rules and Policies Participants and guests understand PRM’s rules and policies governing events and property stays. This includes abiding by child-free and pet-free policies at properties, following restrictions related to fire use, and adhering to any instructions provided by PRM staff or representatives.

You understand that this is a legally binding document and that you are waiving certain legal rights.
