Providing Christ-centered support to strengthen adoptive families

With God’s leading, our aim is to champion families towards thriving in their commitment to Christ, adoption, and the healing and restoration of God’s children.

“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”

— Mark 9:37

The Opportunity

More than 150 million children worldwide are without permanent families, and in Colorado alone, over 3,500 children are in foster care, with nearly 10 more entering the system daily.

Christians are more than twice as likely to adopt, with 5% having adopted compared to 2% of all Americans (Barna 2024). How are we supporting these families to not only strengthen their adoption decision but also bridge the gap of care they need?

We have a tremendous opportunity to come alongside the Church and Christian adoptive families in their calling and the long-term healing and restoration in Christ.

The Problem

We greatly commend the families who have embraced the journey of adoption. Many of these families face what often feels like an unsurmountable peak of challenges that stem from trauma. Addressing this trauma requires an army of support in maintaining stability as they face their journey of healing and restoration in Christ. There is also a great deficit in the world of Christian care for these children and what they truly need along their healing journey. Families often lack the long-term resources, support, and finances to provide the necessary services in healing trauma for adoptive children of all ages.

Our Solution

Christ, Community Connection, and Financial Support. We humbly realize that we cannot do this alone. Preston Ranch assists in financial support that is often a shortfall for families providing what their adoptive children truly need. We look to bridge the financial gap of adoption-related expenses via Medical Grants, Mental Health Grants, and Crisis Intervention Grants. We strongly encourage and promote the church and community to rise to the occasion in championing these families holistically in their adoptive journey.

The Impact

Healing and restoration of adoptive families in Christ are achieved through Christ-centered support, strengthening families committed to adoption through post-adoptive grants.
