General Questions

The grant is designed to provide financial assistance to adoptive families for medical, mental health, or crisis intervention expenses. Our goal is to support families in their journey toward thriving together.

Families who have finalized the adoption process and demonstrate financial need are eligible. Applicants must meet all qualifications outlined in our guidelines, including alignment with our values and statement of faith.

To apply, register an account on our website and complete the online application. Be sure to upload all required documents, including tax documents, family photo, and adoption certificate. A reference form for a pastor and provider are sent, initiated by the applicant within their account.

Yes, currently we are only accepting applications from Colorado residents.

Grant Application Process

You’ll need to provide:
  • A completed application form
  • A family photo
  • Adoption Decree or Certificate
  • Tax documents (with bank account numbers and social security numbers redacted)
  • Reference forms completed by your pastor and a medical/mental health provider

Once all required documents and references are received, the applicant will receive news of a decision within a month.

After submission, we will review your application and contact you if additional information is needed. You’ll receive a notification once a decision has been made.

Grant Details

Grant amounts vary depending on the availability of funds, the number of applicants, and the family’s financial situation.

The grant can be used for:
  • Medical care, including surgeries, treatments, and therapies
  • Mental health care, such as counseling or therapy sessions
  • Crisis intervention services

Yes, grant funds must be used for the specific expenses outlined in your application. Funds cannot be used for non-approved purposes or transferred to other families.

Yes, families may reapply for a grant every two years, but only one application is allowed per specific expense. Families may also apply for other types of grants within that two year period.
